Metal Injection Molding (MIM) allows to produce complex shapes of tungsten carbide without milling or grinding. Different from traditional powder presses, the MIM process uses a raw material mix which is heated up and pressed into its final shape, having almost no limits to possible product shapes.

Injection molded carbide can reduce product costs drastically by avoiding additional work in the freen or sintered stage.
Because of this and the higher initial cost of the mold, MIM is suitable for
- unground carbide parts with complex geometries
- high volume production
- in all kind of applications (cutting tools, industrial tools, wear parts, etc.)
